 Rating:  - great corerI used this corer for all the apples I used when making apple sauce and apple butter. It did a wonderful job. I was very pleased. As a matter of fact, a friend brought a more expensive brand and liked mine so much better that he brought one also. Rating: - This one works. Buy it.I am an apple addict; my consumption is measured in bushels, not pounds. During apple season I give my apple peeler a fairly serious workout and over the years have had a variety of them. This is the best I have had. It is basic, robust, easy to adjust, deals with most shapes and sizes of apples effortlessly, fast, easy to clean, sturdy, and the screw clamp on the bottom holds it where it needs to be (unlike the suction cups, this one mounts fine on the edge of a deck or a sawhorse). The slice width is dictated by the thread of the screw, so slices come out uniform which makes for easy storage, processing, and drying. The coreing ring is the right size to minimize waste while at the same time not requiring overly precise mounting of the apple. Rating: - Kids love it!!!An amazing gadget for the cook who has everything. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Works on potatoes as well. It's a real neat toy to have.
