 Rating:  - Mario Batali The Italian Kitchen Collection Silicone Work Mat I enjoy using this product and am glad I purchased it. It is easy to clean and store (I just roll it up). Rating:  - meh, just okthe most irritating thing about this mat is its permanent crease. upon further examination, you can even see it clearly in the photos on the product page. it has a persistent hump in the center, which sort of defeats the purpose of this item and makes it much more difficult to work with dough. the ruler and circles are nice, but the mat (as mentioned in other reviews) does need to be floured every time, and since the hump won't go away, it makes it difficult to keep the central portion of your dough from sticking to the mat because the flour falls off to the sides. mat is also extremely easy to cut, as i realized the first time i used it with a dull dough knife. oops. save your bucks, the counter is far easier to clean. recipes are nice but surely not worth the investment. Rating: - great productEverything I expected it to be. I use it for all my dough and I really like the measurements printed on the mat. I store it wrapped around my rolling pin. Rating: - Silicone work matI love this work mat. I'm a bread baker, and for years I used a simple table top for working my dough into shape for baking. This required a lot of flour on the table, to keep the dough from sticking. Using the Silicone work mat I need much less flour to prevent sticking, which means also less flour all over the kitchen, and a lot less cleanup! The mat cleans quickly, with a rinse. What a wonderful tool for bakers!
