 Rating:  - Cheese Straw QueenI bought this cookie press to make Grandma's Famous Cheese Straws. I had never used one before and it was like Goldilocks and the porridge at my house. The first batch was too hard, the second was too soft, and then the third batch was just right. The consistency of the dough is very important. When I got that right, my cheese straws looked perfect. I took them to a Superbowl party and they were a big success! My friends couldn't imagine that I really made them (I don't cook!) The press was very easy to use and clean. Rating:  - Complete Piece of Junk! I've been making Spritz cookies my entire life using an old fashioned cookie press my mother got in the 1950's. I wanted to try a power one thinking it would be easier. Because the motor is so weak on the Villaware cookie press it doesn't work well. I can turn out cookies faster and easier with my old hand cranked cookie press. I threw it out after one batch. Don't waste your money! Rating: - Not what I expected!!! I was so frustrated with the cookie press. From what was written about it I thought it was going to work great for my Xmas cookies. It was so decieving. It was called a power cookie press there was no power to it. I wanted a electic one and I thought the battery one would do as well I was mistaken. Rating: - Villa Wear Electric Cookie press This cookie press has been an Excellent resource. It saves time. There are no problems with cookie dough as in the past with a manually operated cookie presses. It brings back the fun into making Christmas cookies, taking it from a "job" to a source of "pleasure". I highly recommend it!
