 Rating:  - Never been able to make good bread, but can now-I have been trying to make bread for over 15 years, and it never tasted right. This book is excellent and I would recommend it to everyone. My homemade bread tastes better than what I would buy at the bakery. Rose tells you with detailed instructions how to make, what to use, down to the brands, and exactly how the science of bread baking works. If you follow her instructions I swear YOU CAN'T MESS IT UP! Now that I have her cookbook I kind of laugh and wonder why I thought it was so hard before, because seriously, she makes it so easy to understand. Rating: - Impressive!This book is chock full of recipes that are very detailed and have the aility to deliver professional results in the home. Rating: - The Best Step by Step Bread BookI have been making bread for years just like my mother taught me, and her mother taught her,etc.. But this book breaks it down so your understanding of the process takes your bread making skill to a whole new level. I have made things that I never would have thought to make before, like English Muffins, great Corn Muffins (no mixes here), and one of the best pizza crusts I have ever ate. I can't wait to try some of the other step by step recipes to some of my favorite breads! Rating: - My Favorite Bread Book To Date!!I have tried many, many recipes in this book, and they always come out fantastic. I highly recommend you buy a scale that has grams on it if you don't already have one. Rose gives recipes in both measurement and weight, but your bread will have much better results with the accuracy that comes from weighing ingredients verses measuring them. Most recipes in this book are not quick 2 - 4 hour loaves. Making bread with this cookbook will take time and planning, but I promise you that the results are worth it.
