 Rating:  - Interesting take on vampiresAlthough the Twilight series creates some new concepts on what it means to be a vampire and has altered the physiological aspects of vampires, the writing focuses more on the relationships that Bella forms with those around her. It is a romance novel more than a vampire fantasy novel, and is a good "beach reading" choice. I was, however, a little annoyed in my edition of this novel (ISBN 9780316160199) because some of the editing was not as thorough as I would hope for a sequel to a very successful first book. All writers have their own styles and make their own flubs when writing, but the job of an editor is to carefully read over the manuscript and catch these mistakes in order to make the writing flow better. I normally don't notice it when there are a few flubs throughout the book, but apparently someone at Little, Brown and Company had not been doing as thorough of a job as needed, for I started to find the same six or seven flubs and started to notice them more. Maybe in a future edition, changes could be amended to reduce the to/too/two and "suppose to" errors and others within the book. Rating:  - new mooni love this book. i have read it at least 3 times now nad i know i will keep reading it cause it is such a good book. Rating: - I loved this bookI read Twilight, and this book is just as good, the author keeps you hooked!! This is the best series i've ever read. I really loved reading this novel. Anyone who has read Twilight needs to read this book!!!! Rating: - New Moon-BookDespite the original delivery snafu, I was very pleased with the customer service in rectifying the situation and getting a replacement copy to me the very next day!
